The question that we are often asked as surveyors is do our surveys look at such things as the heating system. The answer is yes. We don't carry it out to the same extent as a heating engineer but we do give you good common sense advice. We also have thermal imaging cameras and can advise you of the thermal properties of your property. We are also very aware that listed and older buildings have far different requirements and ways of being insulated to modern properties. Whilst we are talking about modern properties we would also just say that we do have concerns about over insulation of properties.
