Yes we know we are biased as this website is about marketing surveyors. But ......where should we start, there's a lot to tell you.

We only use an Independent Surveyors who are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association (ISVA).

Choose the right type of survey for the property you are buying - a mortgage valuation is not a survey. Make sure the surveyor has suitable experience for what you want them to do and talk to the surveyor before he visits the property. If you can't talk to them or if you don't get on with them pick a different surveyor.

Get three quotes.  After all, it's a free market and you can go to whoever you want.   Click here to get a quote from us or free phone 0800 298 5424 to speak to us.

Caveat Emptor, Buyer Beware

If you are in the process of buying a property than please be aware that it is the buyers responsibility to have a Building Survey carried out to find out if there are any problems or issues with the property. An Independent Building Survey could save you thousands of pounds if major problems are discovered.

In addition to this if the photographs do not explain the problem together with our survey report we also add in one of our own sketches such as the black mould example sketch that is shown here.

What are our Good, Bad & Ugly surveys!

We have created what we call our good, bad and ugly survey which is a building survey, also sometimes known as a structural survey. After listening to the feedback from clients we have designed this survey and report to be easy to understand and written in plain English. Problems or positive attributes are divided into good, bad and ugly categories with any very serious issues being placed in the ugly section.

Examples of our building surveys

If you would like to see some examples of our surveys, residential or commercial, we are more than happy to provide you with these via email. You will see that our surveys contain photos, sketches and definitions that help to explain the specific problems that we find within the property.
